Architecture

OUR APPROACH

At Formlab, we approach design as FORM through COLLABORATION. A formation made through a holistic collaboration of the client, consultants, and the community. This collaboration, we believe will bring out the best design outcome which is unique to the client’s aspirations, opportunities of the site and its context, and the users who inhabit and utilise the space.
Architecture

At Formlab, we take pride in our skills and expertise to provide a complete set of architectural services such as:

Schematic Design

  • Understanding you, the project brief, Site Context and exploring conceptual design possibilities and opportunities with you following a costing review
  • Investigation of Statutory and regulatory requirements and keeping a contact with the council

Town Planning

  • Preparing drawings for Town Planning Application
  • Managing the application process and liaison with council

Design Development

  • Further development of design with detailing, interior drawings including fixtures, finishes and appliances specifications, integration of services like heating and cooling.
  • Consideration of Landscape Design

Tendering

  • Preparation of documents for calling of tenders
  • Advice on collaboration with preferred contractors to manage the budget and ensure quality

Construction Documentation

  • Finalising and detailing to obtain a building permit
  • Management of application process and liaison with Building Surveyor

Contract Administration

  • Overseeing the Construction process on site.
  • Preparation, execution, and finalisation of the building contract.
